Institute Igalo is situated on the most western point of the Montenegrin coast, at the entrance to the one of the most beautiful bays in the world, the Bay of Kotor, in Igalo, in the municipality of Herceg Novi.
Herceg Novi itself is located under the Orjen mountain. In its immediate vicinity, there are several small islands, mediaval settlements and towns, of which the best known are the renaissance towns of Kotor and Dubrovnik (Croatia), each of them 45 km distant from the Institute Igalo. It offers waste possibility for organization and filling the leisure time through numerous excursion both in the immediate vicinity and all over Montenegro, and the region, as well.
