In Herceg Novi hinterland, there is mountain Orjen with the highest peak on 1895 m above the sea level. Basic climate caracteristics are abundant precipitation and long lasting snow cover. Beside speleological attractiveness, Orjen is especially atractive due to its numerous endemic species.
In the bottom to the Orjen mountain is village Vrbanj, on the elevation of 1010 m.
In Vrbanj, you may enjoy:
- walking through the beech and pine wood, in fresh and clean air,
- riding a bike through the wood along the asphalt road for 1.8 km long, and macadam track 2.6 km long,
- feel the magic of domestic cuisine and products (pomegranate, mint and grape juice, wine).
